Backstory
Born into a family who runs and owns a very well-known and prestigious school, Leslie was always expected to achieve the best of the best in order to maintain the family reputation. Leslie had been quite relaxed with their school life until their brother, Clay, mysteriously fled the academy and his family, leaving Leslie to lead and inherit the academy.As soon as Clay was gone, Leslie, now preferred to be called by Lee (kind of an abbreviation, also because they realized they were non-binary but not fully out yet) had to take on many different things at once to prove they were worthy of their family name. It wasn't like they couldn’t handle it 𑁋 they were a prodigy after all, but it was just a bit too much sometimes. Having to master at least above intermediate-level piano, as well as maintaining perfect grades, and the ability to speak multiple languages can exhaust little 11-year old Lee.Soon after, Lee was enrolled in Delacroix Academy, being placed in the House of Elizabeth. However, being placed there only burdened them further, thus leaving no choice but to move them. Luckily, they were given the choice to choose where to move, and they chose the House of Victoria, which later revealed their hidden love for the arts.Throughout their school years, they also decided to change their appearance: cutting their hair and switching to contact lenses. They also decided to skip 2 years, which was pretty much expected from such an intelligent student.However, due to not being able to express themselves as a child and being pressed to be a good role model for the future, Lee gets very excited over little childish things. They can also get very talkative when chatting about their interests, though not much is known about these traits of theirs.

Backstory
Sirene was from a certain rich, noble family who had close connections with members of royalty. One particular family who was very close was Yh’s family. Both these families went from business partners to family friends. Despite that, their children (Sin and Yh) had never met each other except in pictures, until she joined the same club as Yh in Delacroix Academy.Sirene was homeschooled by private tutors her whole life, which she enjoyed as she was more used to staying at home, which is evident in her introverted nature. She preferred to speak to others via electronic means. However, during formal events, she is forced to speak to others out of politeness and keeping up appearances. She would prefer to curl up with a good book, absorbing knowledge of the world.Eventually, she chose to enrol into the Academy to search for a change in life with the help of her older siblings. Yh recognised her. They talked, got along well surprisingly and became good friends. Yh then later introduced Sirene to Jae’s club which taught her to open up more to people.

Backstory
Jae, formerly known by her official title Princess (ugh) Grace Elizabeth of Wismar, was kicked out of royalty by her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Wismar, after refusing to wear a dress for her debut ball.Although, she claims, the real reason she was kicked out was deeper than that. Since then, she has sought refuge under her aunt, the Countess of Hampshire, who has decided to fund her education. Jae harbours a general distaste for members of royalty (except for her childhood friend Olivia, whom she lost contact with many years ago), so she mostly interacts with the common people. Luckily, the Countess gave her the freedom she desired.Jae decided to enroll into Delacroix Academy, as the curriculum seemed fun and 🌠badonkadonk🌠. Although she specifically requested the Principal to assign her ANYWHERE but the House of Elizabeth, her request was not met due to an unclear reason. Often, you’ll see Jae spending time in other Houses.

ADMISSIONS
Prospective students will need to prepare the following official documents:
Birth certificate;
A copy of all your previous examinations’ (both internal and external) result slips;
Three letter of recommendations from teachers or mentors;
A personal 1000-word essay on why you believe DA is the school for you;
A list of all your life achievements, together with certificates as proof.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified for an admissions test and two rounds of interview, which will involve writing more essays. The Academy will consider each applicant holistically, but we will still look at your academic grades. (At least we are being honest about it.)
CURRICULUM
The curriculum in the Academy is a combination of middle school & high school levels. Some students start their journey with the Academy from middle school, while others choose to join at the high school level.We offer advanced content in our curriculum; middle school students learn high school-level content while high school students learn university-level content.The Academy does not partner with any examination syndicates (e.g. Cambridge), as our only modes of assessment are continuous tests and projects throughout the students' three- or six-year programme.Students are expected to specialise in an area of interest in High School Years Two and Three.Students will graduate with a final GPA, and a special Delacroix Academy Bachelor’s Degree. From then on, graduates can either continue with Postgraduate studies or move into working life. This certification is recognised by every institution in the world as the most prestigious.The Academy has also produced many notable alumni, many of whom receive widespread acclaim for their invaluable contributions to their respective fields.
ACCOMODATION
Students in the Academy are split into five dormitory buildings, also known as Houses. Namely, these are: House of Elizabeth, House of Roosevelt, House of Victoria, House of George, and House of William.Within each House, there is a shared dining space, living room and recreational space. Each student will get their own room with air-conditioning. Certain pets are allowed.Each building has their own aesthetic and characteristics, as well as certain exclusive facilities.Each student is allowed to choose their preferred Houses, however, the Academy will still assign based on certain factors due to limited capacities.Living on campus is mandatory. HISTORY
The House of Elizabeth is the first and oldest dormitory building to be established. Named after Elizabeth I of England, when it was newly built, the privilege of residing in this House was only awarded to relatives of the English Monarchy. Now, as an homage to its name, royals of all nations in the world are welcome to stay.HOUSE ACTIVITIES
Elizabeth residents are obligated to take part in a monthly ball, as well as partaking in afternoon tea on the weekdays and brunches on the weekends. They also organise regular ballroom dance lessons for non-Elizabeth students.HOUSE PETS

George residents are well-known for their musical disposition. Each of them can play at least one instrument. They, as a collective, have formed a House Orchestra, and they play a wide range of music, from heavy metal to classical. These are words strongly associated with the House of William. However, the history of William dates back to at least the 16th century, when the Scientific Revolution began.This House is the only dormitory that has experienced changes in its core aesthetic. When it was first built, its decor strongly resembled Victoria, as science and philosophy were heavily interlinked. As society progressed into the Industrial Revolution, the House transitioned into steampunk. Today, with the Digital Revolution, the cyberpunk aesthetic has taken over the building.HOUSE ACTIVITIES
William residents frequently take part in e-sports, whether it's competitive or recreational. They host these events for non-William students as well. Majority of the residents enjoy building and creating new technology, especially robots, artificial intelligence, or whichever is trending in the field of technology.
